“You know every step I will take before my journey even begins. You’ve gone into my future to prepare the way, and in kindness you follow behind me to spare me from the harm of my past. With your hand of love upon my life, you impart a blessing to me. This is just too wonderful, deep, and incomprehensible!”
Psalm 139:4-6 Passion Translation
Pictures are worth a thousand words. We have some this month that will tell the story of how God thinks and plans generationally. It’s never just about us today. He looks behind and ahead of the current generation.
In Myanmar we find evidence of this. We met Hallelujah 27 years ago while visiting Myanmar. He was praying for his family. Next, we met his grandson, Peter Thang who was starting an orphanage with his wife Rebecca. Then we met Hallelujah’s son and Peter’s father, Joseph. He was rescuing children who were orphaned on the Thailand/Myanmar border. All three loved and served the Lord with all their hearts.
Keep in mind, it all began with Hallelujah many years before when he became a Christian and began to pray daily for his family. Who would ever imagine his decision to follow Christ in a Buddhist nation would have such a lasting impact on the lives of so many orphans, widows, and pastors in very remote areas of Myanmar?
Whoo would ever imagine Joseph burying not one but two of his sons within the last year—and seeing his grandchildren take over?
Only God!
And bringing it to today—Peter and Rebecca’s children, Elizabeth, Rosemary, and Joseph, the fourth generation of this family on the Hallelujah’s branch, are serving the Lord with all their hearts and leading the Love Children Home ministry. Let’s never doubt that our Heavenly Father has generational plans in His heart for us as well.
We thank God for what He is doing in Myanmar through this family. Thank you for years of prayers and support for their ministry.

Bangladesh
We are honored to partner with Generation Bangladesh, a ministry that reaches out to children in their nation. They hold Kids’ Camps regularly and have a Children’s Home for orphans. Below are two testimonies that we will share this month. Thank you for your prayers and support for this ministry.
My name is Jidum. I am 15 years old and studying in class 8. I am very glad to be able to come and attend Generation Bangladesh Camp. I prayed to Jesus through this camp. I heard a wonderful story about Jesus and also did some exciting games. I will never forget this camp! I like the camp so much. I made many new friends through this camp.
Main thing is, I know about Jesus, know about His love, and know that He died on the cross for my sins. Through this camp, I felt that Jesus loves me, and I prayed to Jesus to come to my heart. I want to follow Jesus in my life so please pray for me. Thank you team members who came and taught us about Jesus!
I want to give thanks to God for His blessings in my life, and I give thanks to Generation Bangladesh for raising me from my childhood.
I am Shalome, I am now 21 years old. Generation Bangladesh brought me in their Family Children Home in 2005 when I was 4 years old! Because we had no money, and it was very hard time for my life. I was so happy to be raised up in this wonderful Family Home. I started my reading and writing from there.
From this Family Home I was able to know Jesus Christ, and I received Him as my personal Savior! He lives in my heart, and I am now following Him every day and walking with Him. I got an excellent environment here in our wonderful Family Home. I passed high school in 2018 and passed college in 2020. Now I am studying in Nursing College, and I want to be a good nurse and serve the suffering people. I thank God and Generation Bangladesh for my life! Please pray for me so I can serve people and serve my country after completing my Nursing College.
Food For Thought
"I am the bread of life; whoever comes to Me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in Me shall never thirst…whoever comes to Me I will never cast out. Whoever feeds on this bread will live forever.” John 6:35-36 & 58
Come to Jesus today and see for yourself. He fulfills that hunger for the spiritual void that exists in most people until they know Him in
