Three of us, Peter and David Larsen and I, just returned from a trip to Myanmar where we carried with us the love, prayers, and support from each of you that are part of the Going Global Inc. family. God has gathered us together to make a difference in the lives of orphans, widows, and pastors in remote areas by coming alongside trusted local leaders. The ministry leaders and pastors in Myanmar are reaching thousands of people with the Good News. What started as a prayer in a bamboo hut built on stilts has become a movement.
In Myanmar, we partner with a community of believers that is bearing much fruit, even in the midst of difficult circumstances—and there is a divine reason for it, because they are abiding in Christ and Christ is abiding in them (John 15:5). Thank you for recognizing the miraculous fruitfulness that is happening in Myanmar and investing into it through your prayer, encouragement, time, and resources.
We had a chance to have a conversation with Rebecca Thang, who co-founded the Love Children’s Home network, which now leads over 500 orphans across 13 orphanages, a widow’s home, Bible college, private school, multiple churches, church planters, and more. I asked her this, “As I look around, there are so many dreams that God has given you and so many dreams that have been fulfilled. What advice would you give to someone who has a God dream and is in the middle of the dream and the fulfillment?” Her answer was so good and important. Rebecca said, “One: Pray and trust God. Two: Work what you know to do.”
Rebecca went on to give examples, and of course one was the recent addition of the Peter Thang Private School. While Peter Thang was alive, he started to dream of a private school where the orphans could receive a first-class education and serve many more in their surrounding villages. The dream started with constant prayer, then a paper drawing of the school. Next they drove stakes into the land marking the boundaries of the school. They began to clear the land in preparation for laying the foundation. This was before they ever raised one dollar or shared the dream beyond their walls. They prayed and they worked what they knew how to do. Fast forward—today the school has been completed and they already have 300 students and expect to be over 500 students next year. They are bearing much fruit!
It was incredible to be back home at Love Children’s Home; I could share stories for hours about how God has held them and how they continue to thrive. The motto that has been in focus for the Myanmar ministry is out of John 10:10, which says, “I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” This community of believers made up of orphans, widows, individuals and families that have given their lives to share the Good News, are experiencing life to the full. Thank you for being the hands, feet, and heart for God.
I love being part of what God is doing. My pastor shared this simple History Maker Prayer, which is perfect as we work together.
History Maker Prayer: “Lord, what big adjustment do I need to make in order to join what you are doing?”

Mission Thoughts from Dennis and Robin
There is much written regarding missions and missionaries by those who have earned the right to comment on both. Oswald Chambers is one who we enjoy hearing from on this subject. He quoted Jesus in John 20:21, “As My Father hath sent Me, even so send I you.” Chambers adds, “A missionary is one sent by Jesus Christ as He was sent by God. The great dominant note is not the needs of men but the command of Jesus. The source of our inspiration in work for God is behind, not before. The needs are so enormous, the conditions so perplexing, that every power of mind falters and fails. We forget that the one great reason underneath all missionary enterprise is not first the elevation of the people, nor the education of the people, nor their needs; but first and foremost the command of Jesus Christ—“Go ye therefore, and teach all nations.”
Go to the world and teach the Good News! At Going Global Inc. we come alongside indigenous leaders to help accomplish what God laid on their hearts for their people, always emphasizing the commission to make disciples for Jesus Christ. The inspiration for all we do is the love and instruction from Jesus to share the Good News while meeting needs that are in the heart of the indigenous leader.
Thank you for your prayers and support for our ministry. You, too, are part of being sent like Jesus was sent through your effort.
Grateful,
Dennis and Robin
Disciple Bible College
Disciple Bible College and Seminary was started in Myanmar to train up ministry leaders. We had the opportunity to spend a day with them teaching important Biblical leadership tools called Pillars. We are working with Pastor Joel Holm with this effort in several countries, and were encouraged to see the influence it’s having in Myanmar. To celebrate the completion of the sessions, we took the students and faculty out to dinner at Seafood City, where they ate and ate and ate all night! Each night, we took different groups out for a wonderful dinner, where they were loved and felt very special.
Food For Thought
“We know that we are of God and the whole world is under the sway of the evil one.”
1 John 5:19 CSB
Christ-followers are part of God’s family. But we must realize that the world and everything in it that is not of God is influenced by the devil. Christians are his biggest target. We are in a war! Get used to it. It is spiritual, physical, and emotional, but stand firm in Him because He wins!
Prayer Requests
You can be an important part of our ministry by praying for us. Prayer is a weapon of warfare, and we covet your prayers. If you would like us to pray for you, e-mail your prayer requests to us. Please pray for the following:
We thank you, in advance, for praying for the following:

Ministry Goal
“And their eyes were opened and they recognized Him.” Luke 24:31
We founded Going Global Inc. in 2007 with this ministry goal. It is still our heart today. Thank you for praying and partnering with us. Together, we can do a lot!
