The Republic of Kenya is named after Mount Kenya. The origin of the name Kenya is not clear, but perhaps linked to the Kikuyu, Embu and Kamba words Kirinyaga, Kirenyaa, and Kiinyaa which mean "God's resting place" in all three languages. 

 

Ministries we support:

 

Elementary School:

Nearly 200 children attend the elementary school that adds one grade each year.  The goal is to include a high school.

 

Orphanage:

The orphanage now includes 60 orphans but there are plans for up to 100.

Pastors and Leaders Conferences:  Conferences are planned annually to train and encourage pastors and leaders of various churches in Kenya.

Teacher Training.  Advanced teacher training conferences are held annually.
